Introduction

Anthony Estes is an explorer of life, culture and design. Now living in San Francisco and a graduate from the Academy of Art University he is proud and dedicated to be a full time artist. His love of photography, design and exploration has driven him to the edge of his existence but yet his thirst for new technology, distant travels and design inspirations drive him for more.

Currently

I am the Lead Designer for the San Francisco Recreation & Park Department: Cultural Arts Division at the Harvey Milk Center for the Arts. This is a part-time position which allows me to also work freelance projects. I am currently looking for a full-time designer position which I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity or a part-time position in San Francisco which would allow me to continue my position with the SFRPD. I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity.

What is New Media?

"New Media is the combination of understanding modern technology and design. We now live in the computer age and technology advances are creating new ways for artists to express themselves every day. A New Media artist has the understanding and knowhow to take an idea and be able build it on any platform or media. Be it print, motion, sound or web a New Media artist is in constant evolution with technology and is inspired by his surroundings, peers and imagination."

Career Goal

My career goal is to gain the opportunity to work full-time for a company in the Graphic Design and New Media fields. The experience I have obtained in digital imaging, print design, photography, web site design, video production and digital audio provides me with the proper skills to be an asset on any project or for any company. Being able to multi task, work well in groups and handle pressure allows me to work on multiple projects simultaneously. With these skills I am confident, excited and inspired to work hard and take on any opportunities that may come my way. Thank you for taking the time to view my portfolio.
